e. Apply a layer of grease evenly on the inner needle and

the outer sleeve of the needle bearing.

f. Install the cross shaft into the flange fork, install the

cross shaft needle bearing with oil seal to the cross shaft
via the flange fork and tightened with a copper rod. EG

g. Install the flange fork with cross shaft to the
transmission shaft. AX

h. Install the cross shaft needle bearing with oil seal to

the cross shaft via the universal joint fork and

tightened with a copper rod.

i. Install needle bearings in place with a hammer and a

copper rod with same diameter as the cross shaft needle

bearing.

j. Install the fixing circlip around the cross shaft needle
bearing into the circlip groove.
Caution

After the installation is completed, turn the circlip for
one round to make sure the circlip is in place.
