7. (Check the harness and the connector (the front blower speed regulation resistance
-grounding)

(a). Disconnect the battery negative cable.
(b). Disconnected front blower speed regulation resistance connector C39.

(c). Check blower speed regulation resistance
connector C39 by using multimeter
resistance.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

C39(1)—Grounding ＜ 2 Ω
Is the result normal?
Yes>To step 8.
No >Repair or replace the harness.

8. Check the harness and the connector (the front blower speed regulation resistance
-air conditioning controller)

(a). Disconnect the battery negative cable.
(b). Disconnected front blower speed regulation resistance connector C39.

(c). Disconnect air conditioning controller
connector C42.
