WARRANTY POLICY & PROCEDURES MANUAL




               Remote Entry Keypad Batteries - are covered by warranty for 6 months/10,000kms.

               Temporary Repairs (or Donor Vehicle Parts) - are not normally subject to a warranty claim. Should a
               temporary repair or parts removed for a donor vehicle be required under special circumstances please
               contact Technical Support for appropriate instructions: techsupport@foton.nz

               Towing - is not covered by warranty.  All towing should be through Foton Passenger & Light Commercial
               Vehicle Assist and towed to the nearest FOTON dealer.

               Trim (Interior and Exterior) - is not covered by warranty if normal deterioration.

               Tyres - are covered by the local tyre manufacturer. Any concerns are to be directed to the tyre agent.

               Wheel Alignment - is only covered if associated with the replacement of a steering component or at
               PDI (before & after print-out required) – PWA required

               Wheel Balancing - is not covered after Pre-Delivery (otherwise before and after print-out required).

               Wheel Trim - is not covered by warranty if normal deterioration

               Wiper Blades - are not covered by warranty.

               Fuses - are not covered by warranty


               3.     REPAIR ORDER COMPILATION

               The compilation of the Repair Order is vital to all service and  warranty transactions. A correctly
               completed Repair Order allows the customer to have all the relevant information regarding their repairs
               and it allows the warranty administrator to correctly claim all applicable repairs.

               Service reception staff members are responsible for the correct compilation of the Repair Order.  This
               will also assist in the technician identifying and rectifying the concern in a timely manner.

               All staff involved in handling FOTON Repair Orders must maintain a thorough knowledge of:

                      Foton Policy and Procedures
                      Dealer Bulletins
                      Cummins Policy and Procedures (refer www.quickserve.cummins.com)

               3.1    Repair Order (Front Page)

               A Repair Order is required for all repairs.  It must accurately include the following:

                      Repair Order Number
                      Repair Order Date
                      Customer’s name, address and phone number
                      Vehicle’s details: model and registration number
                      Correct VIN
                      Warranty Start Date (WSD)
                      Vehicle’s mileage
                      Detailed customer’s complaint – in the customer’s words
                      Outstanding recall checks
                      Customer’s signature
                      Customer’s and Service Manager’s initials for all additional handwritten job lines
