           PROGRESS VILLAGE COMMUNITY CELEBRATES RETIREMENT OF COMMUNITY SERVICE AIDE
On July 16th, the Progress Village Community celebrated the retirement of Jackie Cooper Johnson. Jackie was a Community Service Aide for the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office for 35 years. She served the Progress Village com- munity for 25 of those years. Jackie loved the community and gave of her time outside of work to volunteer with dif- ferent activities, such as community clean ups and the Seniors Holiday dinner. The celebration was sponsored by the Progress Village Civic Council, Inc. Shown with the honoree are: Vanessa Cooper Harvin, Rose Cooper Barden, Kyrah Harvin, Jacquelyn Cooper Johnson (honoree, center), Barbara Cooper Williams, Alexis Williams Brown and Thurston Brown.
