37.8 Hotel Accommodation (Overseas)

In certain countries / cities where the hotel rates are very high, an
Employee may claim based on actual hotel bill. Employees should
exercise their discretion in selecting reasonable class hotel instead of high-
end hotels.
a) Employees may claim for hotel accommodation based on actual
receipts subject to the limit as approved by Company. The hotel rate
shall be revised from time to time at the discretion of the Company
after taking into consideration the comparative cost of living in each
destination.
b) Employees should ensure that the hotel room reservation is made prior
to travelling. The Employee shall settle the hotel charges upon
checking out unless other arrangement has been made in advance.
c) When travelling in a group, Employees of the same sex (Grade 17 &
below) shall share a Double Room whenever possible. The person
who settles the hotel room charges shall be eligible to claim for
reimbursement of the same.
37.9 Public Holiday during Overseas Trip
Employees who travel overseas shall observe the public holidays, if any,
in that country which they are visiting. At the same time the public holiday,
if any, in Malaysia shall not be applicable to them while they are overseas.
