My name is Jeremiah Ford, and I am 20 year old entrepreneur. As a kid I enjoyed watching a show
called Ed Edd n Eddy which peaked my interest in becoming an entrepreneur. The show featured
three friends that were always thinking of crazy ways to make money. The show connected with me
as the characters always persevered through difficult situations.
After graduating from high school and complet-
ing my first year of college, I made the commit-
ment to pursue a career as an entrepreneur. At
this time I also noticed many of my peers were
making poor decisions. I was not about to go
down a road where I could not control my destiny
and have certain opportunities closed. In addition,
my friends and family supported my desire to be
in control of my financial future.
I am not naïve in terms of the risk involved in
starting a business. However, the process of writ-
ing an effective business plan, choosing a market-
able product, developing a marketing plan, and
managing a budget are things I find challenging
and rewarding. I do not believe working for
someone else would give me the same satisfac-
tion in life.
The idea of starting an active wear clothing line came from the love of sports and sportswear. I am
trying to create a brand that all athletes and non-athletes would want to wear. My brand is called
CELOS which means Champion, Equity, Leadership, Overcome and Success. My brand is all about
leaving a legacy. The slogan is LEAVE YOUR MARK. My goal is to combine active wear with a
positive responsible lifestyle. My dream is people will wear my product not only because of the com-
fort and style, but also to make a statement about the type of they have chosen to live. I will release
my brand this summer. My line will be featured at a football camp that I am running for ten to seven-
teen year olds. This camp is for youth football players that off the field represent the ideals of
CELOS.
