              that Adonoy will give to you, as He spoke, þ¢ÑaÌcþ¤ÓLÎêÞÔkó£Ó×ÖñíÒ§ÖîíÐ−ö«ÑzÌ−þ·ÓLÎê  and said, “Set out! Get out from among my people, − flÌnÔ¼CB¤zÌô ·eêÐv eôe¥š ·þÓôêÒ·iÔî

                  26. When your children will ask you, ó¢Ó×−ÑòÐaó£Ó×−ÑñÎêe'þÐôêÒÞ−-−Ìkí–Ö−ÖíÐî .î×

                 the houses of the B’nei Yisrael in Egypt óÌ− flÔþÐ®Ì ôÐa·ñÑêÖþÐNÌ−-−ÞÑòÐë−¥ÑzÖa-ñÔ¼
                                                                                                           This teaches us that he (Pharaoh)  êeí íÖ−ÖíÓLðÑnÔñÐô
       when He struck the Egyptians and saved our homes. ñ−¢ÌvÌí eò−¤ÑzÖa-³ÓêÐîóÌ−£ÔþЮÌô-³ÓêB'tÐèÖòÐa  made the rounds of his servants’ houses  î−ÖðÖëμ−ÑzÖañÔ¼þÑfÔìÐô
       The people then bowed and prostrated themselves. :eÞîÎìÞÔzÐLÌiÔîó£Ö¼ÖíðÒ'wÌiÔî                           and made them get up. 182  :öÖð−ÌôμÔôe
                    28. The B’nei Yisrael went and did ñ¢ÑêÖþÐNÌ−−¤ÑòÐae £NμÞÔiÔîe'×ÐñÞÑiÔî .ì×  For there was no house where there were no dead.  .úÞÅîíÈL-ïéÞÅàøÆLÂàúÄéÇaïéÅà-éÄk
                                                                                                         If a first-born son was there, he died  ,³Ñô Z þB×ÐaóÖLLÑ−

                                                                                            then, the eldest of the household is regarded as a þB×Ða,  ,þB×Ða −eþÖš³Ì−ÔaÔaÓL ñBðÖb
                    [25] When you come to the land.  .õÆøÈàÈä-ìÆàeàÉáÈú-éÞÄkäÈéÈäÀå [äë]       as it is said: “I, too, will appoint him a þB×Ða.” 183 184  .eíÑòÐzÓê þB×Ða−ÌòÖê¹ÔêþÔôÍêÓpÓL

            They had no obligation to do so in the wilderness  þÖaÐðÌnÔë eë−ÐiÔìгÌòêGÐî          and bore children from young unmarried men  ,ó−Ì−eòÐt ,ó−ÌšÖeÔþÑô ³BðÐ ñB−Ðî
                       except for the one [korbon] Pesach  ðÖìÓêìÔ½ÓõêÖlÓê                 and they (these men) thereby had many first-born sons,  ,íÑaÐþÔí ³BþB×ÐaóÓíÖñe−ÖíÐî
                    which they fulfilled in the second year  ³−ÌòÑMÔííÖòÖMÔëeNÖ¼ÓL                 sometimes [as many as] five to one woman,  ,³ÔìÔêíÖMÌêÐñíÖMÌôÎìóÑíó−ÌôÖ¼Ðt
