 Settle in the land that I will make known to you. :E−ÞÓñÑêþ'ÔôÒêþ£ÓLÎê±Óþ flÖêÖaö¤Ò×ÐL  44. Remain with him a short time ó−¢ÌðÖìÎêó−¤ÌôÖ−B £n̼'ÖzÐëÔLÞÖ−Ðî .ðô
 3. Stay temporarily in this land ³êflÒfÔí±Óþ¤ÖêÖa þebƒ.è  until your brother’s fury has subsided. :E−ÞÌìÖê³'ÔôÎìëe £LÖz-þÓLÎêð'Ô¼
 and I will be with you and bless you, D¢Ó×ÎþÞÖëÎêÞÔî £EÐn̼í'Ó−ÐíÞÓêÐî  45. Until your brother’s rage toward you has subsided, †EÐnÌôE−‚ÌìÖê-¹Ôêëe ¶L-ðÔ¼ .íô

 5. [All this is] because Avraham listened to My voice, −¢ÌñÒšÐaó£ÖíÖþÐëÔê¼'ÔôÖL-þÓLÎêëÓš–Ѽ.í  what is life [worth] to me.” :ó−ÞÌiÔì−£ÌlíÖn'Öñ

 [4] Through your descendants shall be blessed. 71  .EÂòÀøÇæÀáeëÂøÈaÀúÄäÀå [ã]  [45] Why should I lose?  ?ìÇkÀLÆàäÈîÈì [äî]
 [Meaning:] a man will say to his son,  :BòÐëÌñþÑôBê óÖðÖê  [Meaning] I will be bereft of both of you. 195  .óÓ×−ÑòÐMÌôíÖñe×ÐLíÓ−ÐíÓê
 “May your children be like the children of Yitzchok.”  .šÖìЮÌ−ñÓLB¼ÐþÔïÐkEμÐþÔïêÑíÐ−  One who buries his children is called ñe×ÖL [bereft].  .ñe×ÖL −eþÖšî−ÖòÖa³ÓêþÑëBwÔí[ñÔ¼ðÑôÌñ]
 This [phrase] has similar meaning in all Scripture.  ,êÖþКÌnÔíñÖ×ÐaöÑ×Ðî  Similarly concerning Yaakov it is said:  :þÔôÖêëҚμÔ−ÐaöÑ×Ðî
 And the following [verse] is the archetype of all:  :öÖle×ÐñëÖêíÓïÐî  “If I’ll be [−ÌzÐñÕ×ÖL] bereft, [−ÌzÐñÖ×ÖL]—let me be bereft.” 196  :−ÌzÐñÖ×ÖL−ÌzÐñÒ×ÖLþÓLÎêÔk
 “Through you shall [the People of] Israel bless, saying:  þÒôêÑññÑêÖþÐNÌ−CÑþÖëÐ−EÐa  Both of you. 197  .íÆëéÅðÀL-íÇb

 We also find this concerning a curse:  :öÑ× eò−Ì®ÖôíÖñÖñÐwÔíöÔ−Ðò̼Ðñ¹ÔêÐî  and you kill him,  epÓèÐþÔíÔzíÖzÔêÐî
 “And the woman shall be a curse” 73  ,íÖñÖêÐñíÖMÌêÖííÖ³Ð−ÖíÐî  then his children will rise up and kill you.”  ,EeèÐþÔíÔ−Ðîî−ÖòÖëeðÐôÔ¼Ô−
 whereby one who curses his enemy says,  þÑôBê BêÐòBN ñÑlÔšÐôÔíÓL  Here she had an inspiration of the Divine Spirit  dÖëíÖšÐþÐïÌòLÓðBwÔíÔìeþÐî
 “May you be like that particular woman.”  ,³−ÌòBñÐõÌ×êÑíг  and she prophesied  ,íÖêÐaÔòгÌòÐî
 Similarly: “May you leave your name  óÓ×ÐôÌLóÓzÐìÔpÌíÐî:öÑ×Ðî  that they would die on the same day  ,e³eôÖ−ðÖìÓê óB−ÐaÓL
 as an oath to my chosen,” 74  ,−Ôþ−Ì ìÐëÌñíÖ¼eëÐLÌñ  as is explained in the Chapter B³ÐLÌêÐñêÑpÔšÐôÔí. 198  :BzÐLÌêÐñêÑpÔšÐôÔíšÓ þÓõÐaLÖþBõÐnÓLBôÐk

 “May I be as that particular person  −ÌòBñÐõÌ×êÑíÍê  [Meaning:] “I have become disgusted with my life.”  :−ÖiÔìÐë−ÌzнÔêÖô
