Objectives:
1. Students learn to have a constructive argument.
2. Students learn vocabulary used in expressing ideas.

Activities:
1. Warmer: Running dictation and summarizing a paragraph.
2. Debate: Students are divided to two groups for a carousel debate.
3. Worksheet on idioms based on body parts.

Lesson Outcomes:
1. Students will be able to increase their higher order thinking skills.
2. Students will be able speak their ideas clearly.

Unit 4 : Surviving on an island.

Objectives:
1. Students will learn adjectives used to describe daily objects.
2. Students will learn negotiating skills.

Activities:
1. Warmer: Rock, paper, scissors transformation.
2. Students identify the different types of adjectives.
3. Marooned on an island: Students are given different roles and attempt to survive on the island.
4. Worksheet on idioms based on water.
