Letter Writing challenge. Take a theme and write a letter to someone, and then pop it in

the post or otherwise deliver it to them.

Here’s what you’ll need:

    • Your favourite pen or writing implement
    • Writing paper, cards or postcards
    • A small crystal or stone
    • Between five and thirty minutes to sit down and write your letter.
    • The first letter is a warm-up. A few words or sentences that express our appreciation.

         Ready? Let’s go!

Theme : The Simple Thank You

Start by holding your crystal or stone in your hands. Close your eyes, and build an energy of

crystal and then continue to sit in meditation for a minute or two longer. Think of your daily life, and
a person in your life who somehow contributes to your day going well. It could be a teacher, the
person who makes your morning coffee, the smiling lady at the sandwich shop, or the author of a
great book you are reading. Trust that the person you think of first will be the right person for
today’s activity.

Once you have been guided to a person, write them a short note.

You could use a note card, a postcard, or a piece of

Write a few simple words or sentences to express your thanks to that person for the contribution
they make to your life, and what that means to you. Then sign your name.

So many people live without recognition and acknowledgement of their efforts in helping others.
This week our little challenge will go some way towards reversing that. We’ll be sharing a little spark
of love and goodwill in the world, and that’s always a good thing.

If you don’t know the name of the person you want to thank, just write

Hi! I just wanted to say thank you for___________________ :) Sign your name xx
