Referrer- Communiation

 During referral processing, can Branch Intake Coordinators (BICs)
communicate to the referrer the need for more information or other
items to complete the referral?

 Yes, for referral sources where Business Development (BD) does not
have onsite staff (or no weekend coverage of onsite staff),

• The Branch Intake Coordinator (BIC) can send messages through
ECIN regarding missing or required information.

• In situations where BD has onsite staff, the BIC should communicate
via Coordination Notes (Clinical Intake Coord Note) to the onsite
staff when there is missing information.
