Ceviche Arigato
Ceviche Arigato, an eatery serving Peruvian classics as well as Peruvian-style Japanese dishes, -run eatery. Ceviche Arigato’s
original eatery operates in Weston. The owners have breathing new life and a fresh, rather sexy décor into the place. The eatery
also fills a sizeable void in a neighborhood where good Latin American cuisine is scarce. Here, Peruvian food fans can have their
fill of fresh-made ceviche, grilled meats and seafood, classic dishes such as aji de gallina (shredded chicken in yellow Peruvian
pepper sauce), seco de res (beef stew), chupe de camarones (shrimp soup), parihuela (mixed seafood in tomato broth) and filete
a lo Macho: fish fillet topped with mixed seafood in a tomato broth. Add to that the Asian-inspired rolls, fried rice (chaufa), and raw
items. This, dear foodies, is not Nobu – it’s homey, simply presented fare. But the food is fresh, real and satisfying. The new spot
is open for lunch and dinner daily.
Rosemary and Franco Batzel are the owners of this sophisticated dining concept that just opened its doors at the Dolphin Mall.
The mixture of Peruvian and Japanese flavors starts with the restaurant's name, as "ceviche" refers to one of the most famous
dishes of Peruvian food, while "arigato" means thank you in Japanese. "Really, we offer typical Peruvian dishes that we have
added Japanese flavors". "Florida is a multi-cultural state, so we try to adapt to the tastes of the Latino people and also the
American market. Same happens with the decoration of our restaurants, but is inspired by Peru, is cozy and comfortable for all
customers. "Ceviche Arigato's success is no accident. Rosemary was born in Peru, the daughter of a Peruvian father and Japanese
mother. "My grandparents came from Japan to Peru and all his family settled there.
In the Dolphin Mall, Ceviche Arigato is located at the main entrance (11401 NW 12th St., Miami FL), while
in Weston can be found in the 288 Indian Trace and West Palm Beach in 1447 10th Street, Lake Park.
