If the sender of a message that is read back notices errors or

misunderstandings, the reply should be NEGATIVE, I SAY AGAIN, after which

the correct version is repeated.

4.9 Establishing a radio connection

When connecting to a station, you set the station's frequency on your radio.

You listen for a few seconds to ensure you're not interrupting ongoing

communication.

An initial call consists of stating the station's name followed by your own full

call sign, for example (for OY-CTZ):

➢ Herning Radio, OSKAR YANKEE CHARLIE TANGO ZULU

Then the ground station calls back, with full callsign.
