6.2.3.8 Airworthiness Statement
We need to make sure that inspections have been complied with and see how
many hours there are for an inspection.
We also need to see if there are dates that require special inspections to be
carried out.
Here we need to look at a Service Statement from the maintenance
organization, which ensures that our aircraft have the required inspections and
inspections.
Below is a copy of an Airworthiness Statement regarding the school's aircraft
OY-TLA. Once the aircraft has been inspected, the workshop issues a new
Airworthiness Statement and places it in the aircraft's paper folder so that
everyone can see whether the aircraft is airworthy or not.
At the top is “NEXT DUE” 5571 or 30 Jul
2024.
So whichever comes first, the hour or
the date, means that the aircraft is due
for service.
We can see the date on the calendar.
It’s worse with the hours. We can find
that in the Aircraft Journal, which we
must always carry in the aircraft.
6.2.3.9 Aircraft Journal
We also call the Aircraft Journal the Journey Log, or the aircraft logbook.
The next page shows the front page of the journey log. It is the journey log
number 1 after registration in Denmark.
