Operational procedures

The journey log is stamped and

authorized.

The logbook contains several

sections – the colored pages on

the right:
- White pages: flight log

- Yellow pages: Notes and

repairs

- Yellow pages: Inspection journal

- Pink pages: Outstanding notes from the workshop

All flights are entered in the flight log with:

- Date

- Pilot's name / initials

- Service (e.g. I/E for school flights)

- Place of takeoff and place of landing

- Time of takeoff and time of landing

- Flight time in the air

- Tacho time

Before a flight, the information we are interested in is Flight time in the air, so

that we can ensure that we have enough time for our planned flight before the

next inspection.
