Operational procedures
the flight is intended to be conducted, fuel shall be carried to:
a. the destination aerodrome and from there to an alternate aerodrome
or
b. a predetermined point and from there to the destination/alternate aero-
drome, and in addition a flight of at least 45 minutes at normal cruising
speed.
6.7.1 A flight plan shall be submitted for the flight in question.
6.7.2 VFR flight without ground in sight may only be conducted within the daily
period (day VFR) for VFR flight published in the relevant AIP.
6.3.1.2 VFR night flight
5.6.1 A flight may only be commenced when the weather reports and forecasts
available for use in aviation indicate that along the intended route of flight,
including at the destination aerodrome and at least one alternate aerodrome,
there will be a ground visibility of at least 8 km and there will be no cloud below
450 m (1,500 FT) above the ground or water.
5.6.2 Local VFR night flights, during which take-off and landing take place at the
same aerodrome and where the entire flight takes place with the aerodrome
within visual range, may, however, be commenced when the visibility at the
ground is at least 8 km (cf. BL-5-61) and there are no clouds below 300 m
(1,000FT).
5.6.3 When commencing a flight that is not a local VFR night flight, taking into
account the wind and other meteorological conditions that can be expected to
occur during flight at the altitudes at which the flight is intended to be
performed, in addition to fuel to the destination, fuel for at least 45 minutes of
flight at normal cruising speed must be carried.
5.6.4 VFR night flights with aeroplanes in the Faroe Islands or Greenland may
not be performed unless a permit from the Civil Aviation Administration of
Denmark is in place.
