Operational procedures
6.5 If an emergency arises during flight, the commander must ensure that all
persons on board are instructed in the emergency procedures and measures
required by the situation.
6.3.1.4 Weather and flight conditions that pose a safety risk
To meet the requirement for adequate weather conditions, you can visit
www.naviair.dk and get information about NOTAM ("notice to airmen" about
runway conditions and the condition of navigation aids) for the runway(s) you
want to land on.
During the winter period, you can get information about snow and ice etc. on
runways. This is stated in "SNOWTAM", which is also available on Naviair's
website.
Furthermore, you can see information about runway conditions in METARER.
The key to breaking the code can be found in VFG AD 1.2-6 or see later in this
section.
At private sites, you must call to get information about runway conditions - if
you do not do this, you have not met the requirements!
6.6.1 If during flight weather conditions are observed that may affect the safety
of other aircraft, or other flight conditions that pose a safety risk are observed,
this must be reported to the air traffic service as soon as possible.
6.6.2 Such reports must contain all information that may be of importance to
the safety of other aircraft.
