                9.8.1.4     Determining true altitude, density, pressure


                At the bottom of the minute scale there are three windows that are used in

                connection with determining true altitude, density and pressure.


                Depending on what information you have and what information you want to
                obtain, these three windows are used together, or they are used in connection

                with the minute and distance scales.

                9.8.2    The wind side


                The other side (2),  the  wind  side, is used in connection with  the slider  (the

                square part that is inserted into the round part).

                This side also consists of a fixed and a rotatable part.





                The fixed part is provided with an index.




                The model shown is CRP1W.

                This model has a wind arm.





                The  model  CRP1  does  not

                have  a  wind  arm,  but

                otherwise  it  is  completely
                similar.
