2-6 Strategic Quality Management (SQM)
Strategies provide a game plan for the future. Strategic
quality management is the process of establishing long range
customer, focused goals and defining the part of the approach
to meeting those goals. Strategic quality management becomes
an integral part of the overall strategic plan of an organization
and is developed, implemented and led upper management.
SQM is performed also at top organization level.
