After that a worker from the DIH recited a poem.

And finally Grup Yorum came on stage. In their speeches
Grup Yorum said the Kazova resistance was the first of its kind
and saluted the resistance, and their songs enthused the spectators

in the event. After they danced a halay, the Kazova workers, their
spouses and children came on stage and they all sang the march
Hakliyiz Kazanacagiz (“We are right, we will win”). Quite a lot of
members of the media were present.

Nur Suer and Deniz Turkali also participated in order to sup-
port the Kazova workers.

A lot of people from forums came to the event. People from
the Kocamustafapasa, Abbasaga, Sisli Centre, Tatavla, Bakirkoy,
Beykoz, Yogurtcu and Bogazici forums came to the event and a
number took on duties at it as a display of human support and
solidarity.

Moreover, teaching staff fron Mimar Sinan Fine Academy,
ITU, Bogazici and
Galatasaray univer-

sities also took
their place along-
side the Kazova re-
