As on every Wednesday, the Kazova workers who are resisting
for their work, bread and honour marched on Wednesday 2 Oc-
tober as a union to guarantee mass participation and we found
solidarity with both the rightful struggle and the honourable re-
sistance.

The directors of our union, the representatives of the Topkapi
storehouses workplace and our members in various workplaces
came together at Sisli mosque square at 1 pm with the Kazova
workers. From here we went to the place of resistance in Bomonti
and all together chanted the slogans “The Kazova workers are not
alone, we are right, we will win, the unity of the workers will defeat
capital” as we marched. The general secretary of our union, Ali
Riza Kucukosmanoglu, made a speech at the place of resistance.
“The Kazova workers have had very important successes, they have

preserved unity and their resistance, particularly after the factory
occupation, and their use of the machines to carry out production
of their own is a very important success”, he said. The Kazova re-
sistance is a model working-class struggle and Kucukosmanoglu
stressed that the Nakliyat-Is union would be in solidarity with
them to the end.

After our general secretary, a worker named Bulent spoke on
behalf of the resisters. He spoke briefly about the course of the re-

sistance and talked of the production carried out and the stage
they had reached. He stated at the end of the speech that Nakliyat-
Is was the only trade union that had shown solidarity.

After the speeches our director and members took a tour of
the factory where production was under way.
