Aydinlar visited. The workers had a warm conversation with the
artist and invited her to the Days Of Resistance Film Festival to
be held in front of the factory to be held on 1-3 November. She
said she would take part at the end of her visit. At half past three
the Fen-Is workers who are occupying their own factory visited.
They put on their smocks and chanted “The Kazova workers are
our honour” in reply to the Kazova workers’ chant of “We are
workers, we are right, we will win”. They drank tea and conversed.
These workers too were invited to the film festival. After shouting
slogans the half-hour visit ended.
Kazova Workers Declare Victory! We Will Get Our

Months ago the Kazova textile workers were thrown out of
work, then they set up a resistance tent, occupied their factory and
went over to production. The Kazova workers became a model be-
cause of the scope of their resistance, the machines which their
bosses wrecked were repaired by them and they continued to pro-
duce as well as to resist. The Kazova textile workers then moved
their factory so they could make their products better known to
the people and make sales to them. The Kazova workers and their
supporters carried out an action in front of the place they would
move to. Bulent Unal read out the statement. During his speech
Unal referred to Umit and Umut Somuncu, recounting the lies
and theft they practised on their own workers.
In his speech Unal referred to a statement by Somuncu, that
he “had given them their machines and now they are working for
themselves”. Unal said “this is complete lies. Everyone knows this
so it is not very convincing. We won this resistance together. Since
