every day. At night workers do not pass without saying hello.

            4 May 2013 Saturday

Today we had breakfast in the early hours. People greeted us
as they were going to work.

At 1 pm, people from the Emekli Cephesi (Retired Front)
who had retired from working life but not from the struggle came
to visit us. They came with banners bearing the words “The Ka-
zova workers are not alone – Emekli Cephesi” and chanting the
slogan “the Kazova workers are not alone, we are workers, we are
right, we will win” and they assured us they would be at our side
in the resistance to the end. One of our abis recited a poem. Then
we all sang songs and folk songs and danced the halay. Later we

taj had been lost to another side with which it had no connection.
The owners of Kazova Trikotaj, Umit Somuncu and Mustafa
Umut Somuncu, supposing the working class to be fools and
shaken by our resistance, did not come and face us.

We, as 90 workers of Kazova Trikotaj, set out on the road
through the courts to get what was owed to us and we have started
a resistance in which every day in the courts, tents and actions we
