In the evening on the 178th day of resistance our artist friend
Pinar Aydinlar visited. She said she supported our resistance and
wished us success in our struggle to obtain our rights. She took
sweaters as a symbol of solidarity. The visit ended after she said

would visit again and take part in any events we organised as we
sought to produce again.

31 August 2013 Saturday

OUR SOCIAL EVENT FOR SOLIDARITY TOOK PLACE

Today in our resistance as the Kazova workers, together with
Grup Yorum and our friends supporting us we announced that

we were starting production.

14 September 2013 Saturday

Together with the DIH and the Kurucesme People’s Commit-
tee we came together with the people of the neighbourhood and
watched a play by the theatrical group Simurg. At 7 pm we set up
stand to sell our sweaters that were the result of our ability to resist.
The play “Come On, Say Something” was greeted with approval
and applause. After the play we said a few words: we described

how far the resistance had progressed and stressed our belief that
we would win.

15 September 2013 Sunday

Today there were various forums in different parts of Istanbul
and we too took part in a concert in Kadikoy as the Kazova work-
ers. At 3 pm we started selling the jumpers we produced as a prod-
