We asked them to stay for dinner quite persistently but they
said they could not and left. After the evening meal we all started
working on the machines. We think that after the holiday we will
move, if we can find other premises. But this does not stop us
from producing, if anything we speed things up.

The night is cold and windy. We install a heater to one side
and try to warm ourselves up with tea. Until morning one of us
is inside and the other outside. The friends on duty outside steep
some tea. We had breakfast. As the hours advance other friends
come and we leave work. Now it is their shift.

We do not have visitors today, other than people who spo-
radically drop by to visit or take sweaters. It is known that tomor-

row is a working day. The nine days of holiday are coming to an
end.

21 October 2013 Monday

A new week and we start the working day. People say bye and
go to their workplaces. For about a week we do not greet one an-
other.

In the afternoon students from Mimar Sinan University so-

ciology club visit. They want to show the film of Tuncel Kurtiz in
their school as a memorial. They said they also wanted to do a
film show in our tent. We said we would let them know after we
told other friends. On Thursday they would be visiting in large
numbers. They would set up a stall at their educational establish-
ment to encourage visits. They went after bringing with them
posters with slogans and photographs.
