Today is the eve. Again we will spend a holiday in our tent.
After breakfast some of us deal with our visitors outside, others
work inside the tent.

Since the start of our resistance a lot of university students
have visited. We got to know a lot of our friends from schools in

various provinces. Today a student came from the Ankara Political
Faculty. He chose 24 sweaters. Later on we will send them by cargo
shipment. He invited us to his place of education. We said that at
the moment we did not have the time. Later on we would be de-
lighted to come. We described what we had been through.

We did not understand how the time passed until evening.
After a meal we decided who would work the machines and who

would be on duty outside. Some of our friends rested inside.

25 October 2013 Tuesday

Today is Kurban Bayram. This is the second holiday of our
resistance that we are spending in a tent. This morning we did
some cleaning up and sweeping in the vicinity of our tent. After
breakfast we made our last preparations and had some sweets
(translator’s note: a holiday tradition). We also had visitors on the
holiday.

Two friends came from Istanbul University. We gave them a
tour of the building and described our resistance. We gave them
our telephone numbers. They said they would think about what
we could do together, they left, saying they would tell their friends
in university about us.
