          our problems to the European Parliament and will also raise it in
          newspaper articles.

               Today the writer Latife Tekin is among our visitors. She re-

          flects our cheerfulness in resisting and in continuing to produce.
          She said that up to the present she had not been able to visit as
          she lives in Bodrum. She takes one of the sweaters we produced
          and says she will visit again.

               We have another conversation with Volkan Yarasir, whom we
          have already met, on the subject of workers’ resistance and the
          struggle. Our discussion is a profitable one. Today too there is no

          lack of university students visiting us. We reserve sweaters for
          friends  from  the  Tatavla  forum  who  will  also  be  going  with
          threads.

               5 October 2013 Saturday

               Early on we clean up and take breakfast. We steep the tea in
          our samovar as the number of our visitors has increased consider-
          ably. Our guests have started to arrive. Students from Yeditepe,
          Bahcesehir, ITU and Ozyegin universities come. If the main topic

          of conversation is our resistance, events in the country and the
          struggle of our people are also mentioned.

               Towards afternoon we say farewell to our friends from the
          ODP (Freedom and Solidarity Party) Kadikoy district organisation
          who have been visiting. Students from Koc University come in
          large numbers with their teacher to our resistance tent and unveil
          a large poster with the inscription “Koc University is on the side
