discussed. We also put on display the sweaters we had manufac-
tured, and the forum which started in the afternoon ended at 6
pm.

In the afternoon the SYKP (Socialist Refoundation Party) and
the Yel Degirmesi forum visited us en masse. We took tea, chatted

and gave information about our resistance. Later we gave a tour
of the factory and showed the jumpers we had produced. They
took some of them as an act of solidarity. Towards evening there
were guests from Greece, France and Germany. One of our friends
from the DIH gave an interview to socialist media outlets of our
own country. They received information about the road we had
travelled as the Kazova workers. There was no lack of visitors well
into the evening. And this was how we passed the day.

30 September 2013 Monday

On the first day of the week we got up early and had break-
fast. Up to the afternoon we had sporadic visits from people want-
ing sweaters.

In the afternoon hours we had a visit from one person from
the Nilufer forum in Bursa. Previously we had spoken by tele-
phone. We gave tea and told of our struggle, which was listened

to with great interest. We gave a tour of the factory and handed
over some samples of our sweaters. The visitor departed after say-
ing some friends in Bursa would be ordering sweaters after being
shown the samples.

In the evening friends from Birgun newspaper came. They
said they wanted to do an interview as part of a documentary
about the sub-contracting system. We did not turn them down.
