Our first visitors come as the day starts, stressing the great im-
portance of our resistance and struggle. Free Prisoners from
Kandira F-Type greet our resistance. This boosts our morale in the
morning hours.

During the day the sweaters we have made in months of re-

sistance and occupation will be shown to our worker friends who
very probably never attended a fashion show in their lives. Our
preparations gathered pace in the afternoon. Friends from Idil
Culture Centre came and set up the sound system, our friends
from the Utopia Organisation busied themselves with the stage
and the podium. We ourselves hung a banner from the front part
of the building. Province Dev-Genc (Revolutionary Youth) arrived.
Students participated from ITU council, Kocamustafapasa,
Macka, Yogurtcu Park, Merter, Tatavla, Abbasaga, Bakirkoy and

Sisli Centre forums, and Mimar Sinan, Galatasaray and Bogazici
universities.

And the time came. At 7 pm the event started. First of all,
the Teneke Trampet music group came onto the stage and per-
formed songs for us.

Then Behic Asci spoke in the name of the DIH. He stressed

that “this resistance is not only about what is owed, it is also a
clash between two ideologies and different classes and who is today
on the side of the workers”. During this, the slogans “Kazova work-
ers are not alone, long live our Kazova resistance, we are workers,
we are right, we will win” were chanted.

Later two of our friends came onto the stage. Summarising
the resistance up to the present, they said, “Our aim is to produce
