Gamze, the older sister of Berkin Elvan, who had at that
point been in a coma for three months after being shot with a po-
lice gas capsule, visited us toward evening and took sweaters that
we had made. We told her we believed Berkin would revive.
In the evening we came together and evaluated what we had
done in the week and came up with a programme for next week.
When our meeting finished we sent two comrades to the Ab-
basaga Forum.
26 September 2013 Thursday
At eight we have breakfast. Everyone then goes to the work
department where we had decided people should go the previous
evening. There had been no opportunities to rest, they had not
had an adequate amount of sleep. But everyone was aware of the
