We told of what we had been through, and described how we had
got to the point of resuming production.

1 October 2013 Tuesday

We spend the morning with the friends from Birgun news-
paper who had come by late the previous day to make a documen-

tary about the Kazova resistance.

Visitors start coming by from the early morning hours. Since
the “resistance fashion show” on Saturday there has been a no-
table rise in the number of our visitors.

This increase is also being observed in the form of increased
media interest. At about half ten a team from the NTV news chan-

nel comes. They film and conduct interviews. A woman friend
from the Galata photo and documentary office comes by and
takes pictures.

Our telephone also continually rings and there are offers of
support. There is a significant order for sweaters from Anadolu
University.

In the afternoon a team comes from the Kanal D TV chan-
nel. They are preparing the news. As soon as they finish Yon Radio

arrives to do a live broadcast.

Today the visitors include the Socialist Feminist Collective
and the Purple Roof – women friends who order 150 sweaters
from us.

In the evening hours Argentinian, Brazilian and Chilean
lawyers participating in the symposium organised by the HHB
