 Your store safe is to be used to secure the following items:
 Cash drawers, petty cash drawer and receipts
                     Gift and Promo Cards
                     Paychecks
                     Nightly drops
                     Valuables left by Guests

            CLOSING THE STORE
 Perform a sweep of restrooms and common areas to ensure all Guests have exited the building.

 Do not allow Team Members, Guests, former Team Members or friends to linger inside the store, patio area
or the store’s outside perimeters after closing.

 Do not allow Team Members to re-enter any locked door after dark/closing. As part of the Team Member
training, the GM or Manager should specify the specific door(s) that Team Members are expected to use for
               arrival and departure.

 The Manager is REQUIRED to close the store with another Manager or Team Member. Leaving the building
alone is not permitted at any time.

 When the last Team Members depart, they must leave by the designated exit, and must always leave in
pairs or groups, with someone inside the building watching until cars are started and people are driving
               away.
 After the building has been secured, do not open the doors for anyone. If a stranger approaches one of the
store’s doors, do not approach or open the door. If the person appears to be hurt or needs help, dial 911
but DO NOT open the door until authorities have arrived.
 Before leaving the building, make sure the safe is locked and armed, cash register drawers are empty and
open, doors are locked and alarm is set.
 The last two Team Members must leave together and secure themselves in their vehicles while they watch
the Manager and last Team Member leave and safely enter their vehicles.

                    IF A ROBBERY OCCURS

A robbery occurs when a suspect enters the store through force or deception and at least one person is in the
building – and can happen, and does happen at all times of the day.

 Cooperate fully with the suspect’s demands. The quicker you get the robber what he wants, the quicker
he’ll get out of the store.

 Once the suspect has fled, immediately call 911 and utilize the holdup button if it is safe to do so. Do not
               attempt to follow the suspect.

 Secure the building as soon as the suspect has left.
 Ensure all Guests and Team Members are safe and try to keep them calm.

 If anyone needs medical assistance, inform the 911 operator of the specific injuries. Refer to “Serious
Injury, Illness or Fatality” for guidelines on caring for an injured Team Member or Guest until assistance
               arrives.

 Ensure no one enters the crime scene and ensure anything the suspect touched remains isolated so law
               enforcement can obtain fingerprints.
