WHEN LAW ENFORCEMENT ARRIVES

 Their requests may include …
 Providing a list of terminated Team Members
 What the caller said during the call
 What actions were taken before law enforcement arrived on the scene
 The name(s) of any Guest(s) or Team Member(s) that have been a problem recently
 To identify any Team Members outside the building who are not scheduled to work
 The position of any suspicious items noted during search activities
 Law enforcement may or may not initiate a formal search of the building as the protocol varies by city.

 If you evacuate, do not re-enter the building until given an “all clear” signal by law enforcement.

WHEN YOU ARE ALLOWED BACK IN THE STORE

 When you are given the “all clear” to go back inside the store, the Manager should ensure that all Team
Members are capable of continuing with their duties.

 Assure your Team Members that the store has been searched and the threat has been declared by law
enforcement to be a hoax, or that law enforcement did not feel it was a legitimate threat. Some Team
Members may still be hesitant about returning to the store – some may even refuse to work the rest of
their shift. You should handle these Team Members with care and concern – they are simply scared. Each
GM will need to make a judgment call based on the situation.
 You should have your Team Members immediately clean their stations so you can begin to serve the
               Guests.
 If it’s late at night and you don’t foresee Guests returning to the store, you must have ROD/ROM approval to
               close early.
