Operations

            OUR COMMITMENT
Dave & Buster’s is committed to increasing awareness and providing training to all Team Members to provide
a safe and secure environment. Although the likelihood of abduction is low, the benefit of preventing just one
kidnapping is immeasurable, and we will do everything in our power to prevent one from occurring.

                     WHEN A CODE ADAM OCCURS

            GET A DESCRIPTION

 Ask for a detailed description of the child: Name, age, gender, race, weight, height, eye color, description of
               clothing and shoes.
 Obtain identity of parent/guardian who made the report.

            GET THE WORD OUT

 Immediately inform all Team Members, Managers and store security.
 Immediately man and monitor all doors and exits for suspicious behavior or circumstance, such as the
activation of an emergency exit alarm.
             Issue public announcement.

 Example: “Attention Team Members and Guests - we have a Code Adam. A 5-year-old boy is lost. He’s
wearing a white shirt with blue stripes, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes. He has brown hair, is about
three-and-a-half feet tall, and weighs about forty pounds. If you find him, please take him to
                   ____________.”

            SEARCH THE BUILDING

 Conduct an extensive search of the facility and parking lot (including restrooms, Team Member areas and
               storage areas).

 Search should be conducted by designated personnel.
 Ensure search is systematic and thorough (i.e., search and man by zones to ensure nothing is overlooked).
 Call 911 if child is not found within 10 minutes of search as this may now be an abduction.

 Because personnel have already thoroughly checked the store, when law enforcement arrives they can
move to the next stage: searching the parking lot of adjacent businesses, setting up roadblocks, searching
               the mall, etc.

            CHILD FOUND ALONE

 If the child is found and appears to have been lost in the store and unharmed, reunite child with the
parent/guardian. Law enforcement or security will investigate further if required.
 Cancel the Code Adam over the public address system.
