7. Refer to the above Bible verses and stress the fact that God creates

millions of people but he knows each one of us by our proper name. Proper
names are important as we are one of a kind! Proper names require capital
letters.

8. Remind the children that months and days of the week are proper nouns.

9. Let the children complete the worksheet and/or find proper nouns of people,
places and things for every letter of the alphabet.

1. The children should be able to distinguish between common and proper
nouns.

2. They should know that days and months begin with capital letters, being
proper nouns.

3. They should understand that God knows each one of us by our proper name.
