term. This committee shall be responsible for auditing all accounts
semiannually.

Section 4. PROGRAM PLANNING COMMITTEE

The Program Planning Committee shall consist of the Anti-Basileus as
chairperson, the graduate advisors, chairpersons of committees (except
the Nominating Committee), and other Sorors appointed by the Basileus.
This committee shall develop new ideas and establish new trends in
program planning for Alpha Kappa Omega Chapter and recommend
ways of implementing the program targets outlined by Alpha Kappa
Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

Section 5. NOMINATING COMMITTEE

A. The Nominating Committee shall consist of nine (9) Sorors elected
in November of each year for a period of one (1) year and may be
re-elected for one (1), one-year term. No one may serve on the
nominating committee more than two (2) consecutive years. This
committee shall present written guidelines prior to the November
meeting.

B. Shall present a preliminary ballot of candidates for office at the
September meeting and in the October edition of The Jewel
newsletter. The final ballot will be presented at the November
meeting and nominations may be taken from the floor prior to voting.

C. Each candidate will be allowed to distribute one piece of printed
material, at her own expense, prior to the November meeting.

D. Each candidate will be able to make a speech at the November
meeting; length of the speech will be determined by the Nominating
Committee.
