Section 11. The PHILACTER shall:

A. Guard the door and entrances to meetings against unauthorized
persons and announce all alarms.

B. Be responsible for keeping order in the business meetings of
Alpha Kappa Omega Chapter.

C. The elected Philacter shall be the chairman of a Philacter team.
The team will be strategically placed throughout the meeting room
to assist the Philacter in keeping order during chapter meetings.

Section 12. The HODEGOS shall:

A. Receive and introduce all visitors.

B. Assist the Philacter in the performance of her duties.

C. Serve as chairperson of the Courtesy Committee.

Section 13. The REPORTER TO THE IVY LEAF shall:

A. Compile and edit data regarding noteworthy activities of Alpha
Kappa Omega Chapter and inform the Sorority’s national organ
and local news media about these activities.

B. Serve as chairperson of the Public Relations Committee.

Section 14. The GRADUATE ADVISOR shall:

A. Serve as liaison between Alpha Kappa Omega Chapter and the
undergraduate chapter and between the undergraduate chapter
and the regional director.

B. Serve as advisor to the undergraduate chapter in the interpretation
and implementation of the program of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority,
Incorporated and its Constitution and Bylaws.
