Culture
If you appreciate the arts and culture, you’ll be impressed by the scope the community offers —

from twice-yearly art walks that explore galleries and studios, to the new Marathon Performing
Arts Center — along with many unique local eateries to enjoy before or after showings and
               performances.

Families enjoy the Children’s Museum of Findlay and the many attractions along the Lake Erie
coast, from the Toledo Mud Hens at Fifth Third Field to America’s preeminent roller coaster
collection at Cedar Point. And if you want to travel just a little farther, you’ll appreciate easy
access to airports in Toledo, Columbus, Dayton, and Detroit.

               Education

Educational options span from public to private K-12 schooling, homeschooling classes, and
special education such as the Center for Autism and Dyslexia and the Blanchard Valley Center.

Findlay High School is a comprehensive high school with an enrollment of 1,951 students in
grades 9-12. In addition, 86 out of 134 of the professional staff have Master's degrees or
beyond. Findlay has two middle schools, four intermediate (grades 3-5) schools, four primary
(K-2) buildings, and one K-5 building within the Findlay City School system as well.

Findlay public schools spend $15,371 per student. The average school expenditure in the U.S. is

$12,383. There are about 17.4 students per teacher.

The city is home to the University of Findlay, Owens Community College, Winebrenner
Theological Seminary, and Brown Mackie College.

               Perrysburg, Ohio
If Findlay doesn’t fit your flavor, many Cooper employees have chosen Perrysburg, Ohio (Toledo
area) as their home base. Located just 35 minutes north of company headquarters, Perrysburg
is a graceful, historic community rich in heritage and traditions.

Perrysburg sits on the southern shore of the Maumee River. The city offers the right mix of
housing, shopping, entertainment and a top-ranked school system. The Town Center at Levis
Commons offers a mix of distinctive stores, entertainment, and restaurants. The city also
boasts historical Fort Meigs, a fully restored fort that played a vital role in America's defense
               during the War of 1812.
