[Ways of Working in Dynamics]
The purpose of this document is to define a clear understanding of what’s expected from the
user when working with Dynamics regarding entering activities. This is a global way of entering
activities giving Coromant a transparent view of its customers.
Within the document I have identified the proposed activities that should be a way of working
within the organization, along with dashboards to help see them visually.
Also within this document there is a section on Relationship Assistant, this is a new feature we are
introducing within Dynamics 9.02 that helps monitor your activities and then displays them to give
you actionable insights
Business Case WHY?
Transparency is a matter of sharing all the activities. The level of activities could be determined by
the types of accounts either based on the segmentation profile or business decision. It is a
fundamental business process within sales to document activities with customer accounts. With that
being stated there needs to be a basic global requirement with activities.
a) Major accounts, “cannot loose “, all activities including a One note document that is
updated by everyone connected to the account along with basic activities ????
b) Identifying activities for these accounts is one of the factors that will be a key component
within the relationship assistant.
c) Failure to not identify activities around our customers basically nullifies one of the key
features of Dynamics
