THE LANGSTONE CLIFF HOTEL DAWLISH WARREN DEVON

It is now 30 years since we started using the Langstone Cliff Hotel in Dawlish Warren and
the hotel is as popular as ever. The dance floor we bowl on is as individual as the average
Village hall but the bowlers seem to work it out year after year on Wygreen Carpets.
The hotel is regularly refurbished, much more than other venues, particularly adding
easy access showers for those of us that need them. A full Breakfast Buffet is available
every morning and a great Carvery every evening with a free pre-dinner drink beforehand.
The Pairs Tournament starts on Monday afternoon and continues through Tuesday
and on to Wednesday in the daytime. On Monday evening there is an after dinner fun bowls
drive for boxes of chocolates. Tuesday evening sees a 2-bowl singles competition which
concludes on Wednesday evening. Thursday is a Triples event and like all other events
starts on a round robin basis. You can enter as many events as you wish.
Thursday evening is our fun team quiz night to test your general knowledge. Choco-
lates as prizes again, usually tubs depending on the time of year. The Pairs and Triples fi-
nals are staged on Friday morning followed by the presentation of the prize money for
Singles, Pairs & Triples and the taking of photographs of the winners and runners-up for
the magazine report. A busy week for you to enjoy in this great and very comfortable hotel.
