The Merton Short Mat Bowling Club Summer Triples Tournament
took place at the Merton Club venue. As in the previous two years,
it was decided to run the tournament on the same lines, requesting
sponsorship from local businesses. Those who supported us were:

As a club, we have had an expensive season, having purchased two new mats at a
cost of just under £1,900, so the sponsorship received has helped considerably. Thanks
are due for all the support and also to those who donated raffle prizes. After the completion
of play, Anstey, who won every game, were declared the winners, with Woolsary finishing
as Runners-Up were after winning three games and losing one.
