              Dear GOLD Program Graduates,

It doesn’t seem all that long ago that I was

a management intern, the program that
              preceded the GOLD program. I

              remember going through the different
rotations and learning as much as I could

about Con Edison. That learning has

              never stopped. The company has
changes, and so have I. All for the better,

              I think.

Congratulations to you on completing the program, and I wish you all much success

in your future career, which I hope will continue to grow and nurture here at Con
Edison. As you think about building your own career, think of Con Edison not as

just one experience, but rather as a company that can offer a wide array of

experiences under one roof. Whether you have a role bringing reliable and clean
electric, gas or steam to our customers 24/7, serving customer needs in new 21st

century ways, developing the future utility model with new products and services
(and with it new opportunities to advance solar, wind, batteries and transmission) or

a career in law, finance or accounting – there is so much you can learn and do at
              Con Edison.

So, think of your career as a life-long journey to learn different aspects of our
business, to serve our customers ever better than before, and to leave our industry,

and or planet, pointed toward a better and more sustainable tomorrow.

Along the way ask questions and be open to opportunities that come your way
whether or not you considered them before. And please make sure to have fun

along the way. Laugh a lot. Go to new places. Meet new people. Don’t have any
regrets – just learn from your experience and keep moving forward!

              All the best,

              Stu
