Curry
This refers to a number of dishes
that originated from the Indian
cuisine which entails a number of
spices and herbs.
However, the curry powder is a
curial part of the Jamaican
cuisine as it adds a distinct flavour
and colour (mostly yellow) to
many of the Jamaican dishes.
These include: curried shrimp,
curried chicken, curried fish,
curried mutton; among others.
The value of the spice accounts
for it being the focus of some
fests-(Curry fests)

Stir-Fry
This cooking technique from the
Chinese follows the ingredients
being fried in hot oil while being
stirred.
This technique by the Chinese is
view as somewhat healthy as it
contains a small amount of oil with
a skilful blend of vegetables and or
meats.
In Jamaica, stir-fries can be enjoyed
in Chinese restaurants where they
grant the traditional method of
preparation; Some of which
includes: chicken stir-fry and
vegetable stir-fry.
