Pita bread
This soft, chewy whole wheat
bread has significant value to
the Lebanese and Syrians ethnic
group as it was originated from
Asia.
The flavour is remarkably tasty as
it contains basic ingredients
such as: oil, flour, salt, honey,
yeast and water. It is then baked
at a high temperature after it is
rolled thin. Often it is stuffed with
vegetables, thick stews and
meats.

Eggplant
This fruit is often used as a meat
substitute; it endures
complaints of being mushy,
bitter or spongy.
The glossy purple fruit though
widely used in cooking does
have some health benefits.
Some of which includes aiding
to cure some respiratory
illnesses.
Eggplants can be baked,
broiled, stuffed, grilled, fried
and smoked.
