quicker with more texture
and crispiness.
Frying techniques vary in the
amount of fat is required. The
techniques include: Deep
frying, sautéing, stir frying and
shallow frying.
Foods such as: chips, donuts,
French fries are fried and
enjoyed in Jamaica.

Breadfruit
British Captain Bligh was
given that task to plant
seedlings of breadfruit in
Jamaica and St. Vincent
from the island of Tahiti.
This Staple has become
important part of the
Jamaican culture.
Being a major staple in our
foods; it can be prepared
through various means:
Baking, frying, roasting
and even boiling.
