                                                                   Midwestern University, College of Pharmacy

                                                                   Asna’s passion for learning is apparent through her strong dedication and
                                                                   hard work to achieve her college education. Asna believes that learning
                                                                   provides her with a feeling of empowerment. She gives back to others by
                                                                   volunteering in Read to Lead organization where she visits children at
                                                                   libraries and foster homes to assist with their homework and reading
                                                                   proficiencies. Asna’s service experience has taught her many life lessons and
                                                                   appreciation for what she has. Her interest in science and research is why
                                                                   she chose to pursue a career in Pharmacy and is looking forward to being a
                                                                   Pharmacist at Jewel-Osco upon graduation.







          Jamie Nelson
          Store #3074 - Joliet, Pharmacy Technician
          Midwestern University, College of Pharmacy

          At Midwestern University, Jamie balances her time between classes and on-
          campus organizations, participating in American Pharmacist’s Association and
          volunteering in Hospice care. Jamie has also taken on a leadership role as a
          Worthy Inner Guard for the Phi Delta Chi Pharmacy Fraternity. She is
          described by her Store Director as “a hard-worker and does her best to excel
          in both school and work.”
          Jamie aspires to work at Jewel-Osco as a Community Pharmacist upon
          graduation. She looks forward to educating customers; providing patient care                                                32
