Nicholas Wachowiak

Nicholas believes that his work experience at Jewel-Osco helped him achieve
real world skills and shaped his decision to pursue a degree in Business. His
work experience has allowed him to gain business knowledge as well as
helped him to understand the importance of meeting customer’s needs. His
Store Director describes him as “a hardworking individual with a great
personality.” Nicholas is looking forward to a store management career at
Jewel-Osco where he can make a positive impact in the business and with his
store team.
Gurleen Kaur
Store #3338 - West Chicago, Cashier
College of DuPage
Gurleen has a passion for technology and is looking forward to a career in the
IT Department at Jewel-Osco. She developed her technical and leadership
skills while serving as a Student Lead Technician at her school, leading a team
that provides technical services to students. Gurleen also contributed
frequently to her community, working at the food pantry with her local
church. In addition, she has volunteered in the library at her religious center,
helping sort and organize books to make it easier for patrons to find books.
Gurleen is eager to apply these skills gained to carry over into her future at 31
Jewel-Osco.
