P. 13
My name is Jayda, and I am 14
years old. I was born in Launceston,
Tasmania, but when I was 10 me
and my family moved to New South
Wales for two years. Then I moved
back to Tasmania to live with by
grandparents on Cape Barren
Island, one of the Bass Strait
Islands. I have lived here for two
years now. I have a little brother who
lives with my Mum and Dad in New
South Wales and I live with my Pop
and Nan.
I have a
dog named
Sally. Sally
loves going
for walks on
the beach
and up and
around in
the bush.
Where I live there are only a maximum of 100 people who live on the island. There is
also only one shop, one post office and if we want to go to town or even on school
excursions, we have to take a plane to get there.
I like how calm it is here, I also like how the beach is only down my driveway too. At my
house, I have a huge front yard, and I have a beautiful view of the beach from where my
house is.
Now because of the corona virus 19, I usually read books, write or just spend my time
watching anime.
I really miss my Mum, Dad and my Brother.
I am really looking forward to going to town soon and doing lots of shopping.
