8.4.1. Welcome Brief - Visual presentation to help candidates understand the
Deployment Center processes, local rules, and what they could encounter
departing to the next AOR (i.e., DIDC-Dubai, Kandahar (KAF), etc.).
8.4.2. Life on the Forward Operating Base (FOB)/Afghanistan slide show - A Q&A
session about FOB life with a corresponding photographic slideshow is given.
Created to encourage new hires to ask questions about what they should expect.
8.4.3. Instructions on using LOGCAP IV Training Quizzes - Candidates are informed
about the LOGCAP IV training website and the quizzes that are required for all
DI compliance and HSE training. Presentation includes access information,
taking quiz and documentation.
9. Lodging
9.1. Hotel Rooms: Standard hotel rooms are available to all candidates. Rooms are billeted
as double occupancy, and are available each night. Single occupancy rooms, when
available, are authorized at an additional cost to candidates or external contractors.
Rooms will be held based on forecasts provided by the DI Staff.
9.2. Meals: The hotel restaurant provides meals to all lodging candidates. The restaurant
provides 3 meals per day: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Such meals are hot meals
(breakfast more than continental style) with multiple selections available.
9.3. Candidate Conduct
9.3.1. Candidates are required to conduct themselves in a courteous and professional
manner at all times while in company provided lodging. Damage or theft of hotel
property will be reported as theft and will be chargeable to the registered room
occupant(s). Disrespect towards Hotel or DI staff will be subject to corrective
action.
9.3.2. While staying in provided lodging, all personnel should be aware of appropriate
dress and behavior and ensure they comply. DIDC candidates will adhere to the
DI dress code policy while on duty.
9.3.3. All employees and guests of employees will comply with DI policies, lodging
guidelines at all times.
9.3.4. There will be no cohabitation between DynCorp International candidates,
vendors, sub-contractors and/or customers.
9.3.5. Candidates must comply with all employer, customer, contract, and local laws
and regulations, not limited to; laws related to prostitution, drug use, and alcohol
use. Candidates will conform to a high standard of moral, professional, and
ethical conduct.
