Employment
Policy
The hiring of an employee will be based on appropriate job-related needs. A vacancy is, whenever possible,
staffed for a candidate from within the Company whose qualifications and competency levels are suitable for
the role. If a suitable internal candidate cannot be found, the Company will then recruit from outside.
Procedures
The process of recruitment and selection will be carried out with transparency, integrity and fairness to all
candidates. Normally, the appointment of an employee can be done under the following conditions
1. The number of employee in the department is less than the approved manpower plan or
2. A new position is created or added to the existing plan.
3. The recruitment and selection process will follow the HR process workflow, with at least 2 approvals
required prior to each hiring decision.
4. All candidates must be assessed and evaluated for the most appropriate fit to the role based on
competencies required for that particular vacancy by using competency based Interview Evaluation
Form, and role specification tests. Meanwhile, the recruitment and selection process will follow the HR
process workflow, with at least 2 approvals required prior to each hiring decision.
Any department that wishes to appoint a new employee or to replace an employee who has resigned shall
create the recruitment requisition and get the approval to proceed with the selection of the qualified candidate.
Certain positions may require a financial guarantee and/or work guarantee for the reason of security during
the employee’s service. A new employee in a position requiring a guarantee / guarantor will be notified and
asked to provide the appropriate documentation before starting work.
Qualifications of the New Hire
1. Be between the ages of 18 and 60, except for special employment situations as the company may
deem appropriate.
2. Be in good health with no serious communicable of objectionable diseases or alcoholism or drug
addiction. Must not be insane nor suffer from mental disorder.
3. Be a good citizen. Has never had a bad record or been sentenced by the Court or prosecuted in a
criminal case, except for minor offences or offences due to negligence.
4. Has never been declared bankrupt or insolvent by the Court.
5. Receive a satisfactory reference check.
6. Has completed military obligations to Thailand (for male employees).
